Cancelling an order
- Within 24 hours and not yet shipped — you can cancel at no charge from My Orders.
- Within 24 hours but already shipped — treated as a return: you pay the shipping and return costs.
- After 24 hours — the order can no longer be cancelled, but it can be returned as per our return policy.
Any order that has been shipped will be treated like a return if it is applicable for a return under our return policy. The customer will be responsible for all costs related to shipment and its return.
To cancel within 24 hours, open the order in My Orders and tap Cancel order, or message us on WhatsApp with your order number.
Return & exchange window
- Unused, unworn items in their original packaging with tags intact may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery.
- To start a return, message us on WhatsApp or email support@deqmeupp.com with your order number.
Non-returnable items
- Earrings, ear cuffs, nose pins/rings and body jewellery: for hygiene and health safety, these cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered, unless they arrived damaged.
- Custom-made, engraved or altered items.
- Used items, and clearance or discounted items.
- Any product that has been repaired, re-soldered, polished or altered by a third-party jeweller.
Unboxing video is mandatory
Imitation jewellery is delicate, and stones can loosen or posts can bend in transit. To claim for a missing, wrong or damaged item:
- Record one uninterrupted, continuous video while opening the outer courier packaging for the first time.
- Send the video to us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Claims without an unboxing video cannot be accepted.
Return shipping
Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the return is due to a transit defect verified by an unboxing video.
Refunds
- Once the returned item reaches us and passes inspection, prepaid orders are refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
- COD orders are refunded by bank transfer or UPI.
- Shipping and COD fees are non-refundable unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
What is not a defect
Minor variations in finish, tone, alignment or colour are natural in handcrafted jewellery. Gradual fading of plating from normal wear is also not a defect. See Terms & Conditions, sections 2, 3 and 7.
